New Somali Government needs to address its overseas detained nationals more effectively

One of the main International priorities of the new incoming Somali Government should be addressing the growing crisis of Somalis Imprisoned Abroad.

From North America to Europe to Asia, there is growing number of Somalis going to prison due to different social problems, illegal immigration, piracy & terrorism Yet many have wrongly been profiled and imprisoned without charge or wrongly convicted.

According to the wishes of  the Somali communities in the diaspora, the new incoming government and its justice institution need to set up an effective platform to address the the growing number of Somalis falling into the wrong side of the criminal justice system.
